Experience local food cooking in a typical middle-class house.

You will become a part of our family, and we will cook a typical Zambian dish (nshima, vegetables, okra, and some relish) together. We will cook traditionally on a brazier with charcoal. After cooking, we will share the meal, and you will be taught how to eat the dish using your hands. This is a traditional and common way of eating here in Zambia.

During the meal, we can talk about Zambian culture and traditions, such as marriages, community lives, education, bringing up children, or other topics you will be interested in, and I will be able to explain. Also, we tell you what to visit and what to be aware of, such as some dangerous places or situations you can encounter in Zambia.

In general, in Africa, it is challenging to follow precisely the timing, but we will try to frame our shared time in about three hours.

Českým čtenářům

Většina textů je originálně psaná anglicky a většina textů je přeložena zatím jen strojově, proto některé formulace mohou znít kostrbatě až nesmyslně.

Postupně texty překládám, aby zněly více česky. Děkuji za pochopení.

Kdyby mi někdo chtěl s překladem pomoci, tak toho velmi rád využiji :-)
